Since 1984, the Hall has been running a successful village lottery. Originally known as ‘The One Hundred Club’ its original purpose was twofold: firstly, as a fun way of raising funds for the Hall, and secondly, to help generate a sense of community.
Almost forty years later, the Hall Draw has continued to be key in the Hall’s annual fundraising. Now, having over 200 contributors, it has outgrown its original name and is testament to our villagers’ willingness to support our wonderful village asset – the Hall.
This is good news for villagers and their individual annual £5 investment into the draw as because of increased contributors, we now have an increased number of prizes: 1 at £50, 2 at £20, and 3 at £10, three times a year.
The Hall thanks those who are already part of the Hall Draw and welcomes more to join!
